REUNION WITH FRIENDS
Sitting at a café terrace in Lisbon, my friends Hélias, Sami, Marcus, Louis, Emma, Morgane, and I (Rayan) were sharing travel memories and how these adventures enriched our lives. But very quickly, Emma brought up a familiar topic: luggage. We came to the same conclusion—having to pay extra for a few extra clothes or a slightly oversized suitcase was becoming downright frustrating. These unexpected costs often ruined the savings we had made on a plane ticket. The question then arose: wasn't there a solution to avoid this? A bag or suitcase that would make a difference? But we had no idea where to start.
THE BIRTH OF AN IDEA
Morgane was explaining how tired she was of having to roll or compress her clothes by hand to save space. That's when Marcus had a brainwave: "What if we integrated a vacuum bag directly into the bag?" This idea immediately appealed to everyone. By reducing the air contained in the clothes, we could make the bag much more compact, gaining up to 55% more space . We all looked at each other and, without a word, knew we were onto something powerful. Thus, Airvage was born.
VACUUM TECHNOLOGY FOR TRAVEL
Fueled by enthusiasm, we began to seriously work on the project: sketches, prototypes, brainstorming sessions until every detail was refined. After numerous tests, we designed a travel bag that was both lightweight and practical, equipped with an integrated vacuum bag and featuring multiple compartments. We named it AIRVAGE , a nod to its lightness and simplicity.
Finally, AIRVAGE was born. Today, our revolutionary bag offers travelers a new way to travel: smarter, more convenient, and stress-free.
